==== Standard & Poor's (S&P) ====

Standard & Poor's (S&P)为全球重要的指数编制和信用评级公司。

1941年，标准统计公司和普尔出版公司合并而创立标准普尔；1966年，McGraw-Hill收购了标准普尔；2012年，标准普尔和道琼斯合并成立标准普尔道琼斯指数公司；2016年，McGraw Hill Financial重整为S&P Global。目前，S&P Global包括S&P Global Ratings, S&P Global Market Intelligence, S&P Dow Jones Indices, and S&P Global Platts。

==== MSCI ====

MSCI（Morgan Stanley Capital International），摩根士丹利资本国际公司。

1986年，摩根士丹利收购了Capital International，开始使用MSCI这个缩写；2004年，MSCI收购了风险管理和投资组合分析公司Barra，成立了MSCI Barra。

FTSE（Financial Times Stock Exchange Group），富时集团，隶属于伦敦交易所（London Stock Exchange Group, LSEG），LSEG同时也拥有罗素指数公司（Russell Indexes）。2015年5月，伦敦交易所宣布将富时集团和罗素指数公司合并为富时罗素（FTSE Russell）。
